Make yourself available to recruiters and employers

Recruiters and employers use our system to search for potential candidates so make sure you mark yourself as searchable.

You need to be logged in to make yourself searchable, if you haven’t got an account please register with us. Once you are logged in to your account go to your ‘My Job Seeker Profile’ within your ‘My Account’ area.

You will find the privacy settings in the ‘Job Seeker Profile’ area, there are three options to choose from:

  • Make my profile, and CV available to recruiters – selecting this option will make you available to recruiters and employers so they can find you and view your CV
  • Make my profile available to recruiters, however I will decide who can see my CV – selecting this option will make you available to recruiters and employers so they can find you but they will need to get your permission before they can view your CV
  • I do not want my profile, or CV to be available to recruiters – selecting this option means you are not available

As well as setting your privacy settings you will also need to add the following information:

  • Headline – a short one liner to sell yourself
  • Profile – your profile will be seen by recruiters and employers before they make a decision whether to view your CV. They may not have more than a few seconds so make it clear what you have to offer from the very beginning. A succinct personal statement listing what you can do and what you’re looking for should make it instantly clear why you’re a good candidate.
