£6,139 per annum (15 hours per week) or £10,231 per annum (25 hours per week) £7.87 per hour 

The Royal Air Force Museum is Britain’s National Museum that tells the story of the RAF through its people and collections. It has three sites (London, Cosford and Stafford) and a trading company which supplements its funding which comes principally from the Ministry of Defence.

We have two vacancies for part-time Simulator Operator/Retail Assistants working for our trading company at Cosford. One 15 hours per week and the other 25 hours per week.

Your duties will include serving customers at the sales counter, assisting in the receipt, checking, location and movements of stock, both in and out, ensuring that all areas are clean and any other tasks or responsibilities as necessary. The ideal person for this position should have exceptional and professional customer service skills, a friendly attitude and the ability to multi-task.

These are part-time posts. Typical shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 10.00 am and 5.00 pm, 15 or 25 hours per week, 5 hours per day for 3 or 5 days per week, normally including weekends. Please specify which vacancy you are interested in when applying.

The post will be based in Cosford, West Midlands. Travel between other Museum sites will be necessary.
