Our client is a uniquely integrated sales, distribution and manufacturing operation with significant expertise in a range of paper and plastic based packaging products. 

With an outstanding software system that allows us to track, risk assess and continually ensure that our business is working to best practise, health & safety guidelines and environmentally friendly, we pride ourselves on the health & safety of our workforce, and the environment that we provide to our staff and beyond our doors. 

We are now looking for a strong individual to manage our processes and ensure that everyone is working to these procedures, you will be responsible for enforcing and responding to any problems in a pro active and dynamic manner. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for; 

Maintaining best practise and health & safety across the group 
Completing inductions for new staff, and providing regular updates to existing staff. 
Upholding Health & Safety in the workplace and being able to challenge problematic areas/offenders whilst providing solutions as they happen both verbally and in writing. 
Responsible to the Operations Director, you will form part of the management meetings, providing regular updates and working with both the manufacturing and Transport Managers to ensure that all is operating correctly as per company and legal procedures. 

The ideal candidate will; 

Have excellent experience in enforcing health & Safety to all levels of workforce 
Able to communicate professionally and pro actively to any areas of improvement 
Have proven managerial experience
Able to work on all Microsoft packages 
Flexible in approach - want to get the job done and right 
Have a passion for looking after the health & safety of themselves and others 

The successful candidate will possess ; 

IOSH Managing Safely Certificate as a minimum


A NEBOSH General Certificate would be an advantage 


Full Time - 9.00AM - 5.30PM
