Residence Manager - Social Care

 

Salary £25,916 to £29,999 per annum

We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Care Provision. Reporting to the Registered & Social Care Manager you will be responsible for the quality assurance and ongoing improvement of the residence including management of staff and resources, and responsibility for student progress.

 

 Key Role Specific Responsibilities:

  • Line manage a team of Care and Independence Support Workers
  • Manage staffing levels and staff rotas
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and implement all policies and procedures
  • Plan, develop and deliver care plans
  • Ensure that all aspects of the Independence Health and Wellbeing program are delivered to agreed standards
  • Deliver personal care and independence skills
  • Ensure that student progress is captured and recorded in care records
  • Take an active role in student reviews and multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Pastoral support, liaison with families, social workers and counsellors
  • Safeguarding awareness and promotion in all aspects of the job to promote the welfare of young vulnerable adults

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Significant Management experience (essential)
  • Level 3 relevant professional qualification (essential)
  • Level 4/5 relevant professional qualification (desirable)
  • Proven success of working within a similar role
  • Knowledge of CQC framework
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills with individuals/staff at all levels
  • Highly motivated individual
