Purchase Ledger Clerk required on a temporary basis to join a large, well established business based in Wednesbury for a minimum of 4 weeks with an immediate start. You will be working as part of a small and friendly team and be solely responsible for the accurate maintenance of the purchase ledger function matching, batching and coding up to 500 invoices per week. Other duties will include compiling and processing supplier payment lists, reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries internally and externally efficiently and with a friendly manner. My client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who is available to start immediately and hit the ground running. You will be able to pick up the role and run with it with minimal training. Experience working with a computerised accounts package and Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups is advantageous. Excellent communication skills are a must. This role is working with a well established business based in Wednesbury with an open and friendly culture. This business offers plenty of on site parking, a modern open plan office and the hours of work are 7:30am until 4pm with 30 minutes break and a 1:30pm finish on a Friday with 20 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays.
