The Financial Reporting Manager role is based within Finance department.

This is a chance to work on an exciting future for HSBC as we set up a new UK
bank.

The role of the Financial Reporting Manager is to:
Provide the candidate with the chance to work on a new bank being created,
unlike any other opportunity Creating a RFB is a major priority for HSBC

The role is a chance to work at a large scale and influence at the senior
level

Your responsibilities will include:
Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the
orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Oracle Financials Experience
working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Corporate Banking & within
Reporting Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. P/L, Banking
Role relevant qualifications, i.e.PQE - fully qualified, CIMA, ACA, ACCA Past
working experience on relevant systems, i.e. Oracle Financials Availability to
undertake the travel required for this role, i.e. Some travel to London and
other sites. Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Balance
statement is desirable but not essential A track record of constantly looking
for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism
necessary to successfully implement change Proven experience of motivating
others to deliver exceptional performance and long terms results Experience of
supporting others' performance, enabling them to achieve by providing clear
direction, motivation and support Both spoken and written communication skills
with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and
message to be delivered
The base location for this role is Birmingham

We are required by the Financial Services (Banking Reform) Act 2013 to create
a ring-fenced bank in the UK by 1 January 2019. Entirely new from the ground
up, HSBC UK's head office is opening in Birmingham. The location of this role
will move to our new state of the art offices at 2 Arena Central during 2018.
