The Client

World class automotive business who are currently experiencing rapid growth require an Emissions Engineer to join the business based at the site in Whitley, West Midlands.

The Role

The role of the Emissions Aftertreatment Engineer will revolve around the following responsibilities:

- Specification, development and delivery of cost-effective emissions after-treatment systems, enabling vehicles to meet the ever-tightening legislative tailpipe emissions standards
- Coordinate the design, development, testing and introduction of diesel catalytic coatings into emissions after-treatment systems
- Report into the relevant Group Leaders and, where delivering on specific vehicle programmes, have an additional matrix report into Module Leaders
- Deliver the commodity plan to quality, cost and time
- Lead on the technical content and integrity of specific components and systems across all future diesel powertrain application programmes.

Essential Experience

You must be able to demonstrate experience in the development of Diesel Catalytic Coatings?

Required Experience

The ideal candidate for the role of the Emissions Engineer will be experienced in the development of diesel catalytic coatings. Applicants will be motivated self-starters, you should have proven project and supplier management skills, and you will be able to make decisions which are in the best interest of the business.

As Emissions Engineer you will have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability complemented to influence and engage. As our perfect candidate, your profile would best be rounded out by knowledge as well as the application of failure mode avoidance tools and techniques.
