An exciting new opportunity has become available in our Supply Chain department for an Administration Assistant to join the team in a role requiring diligence, efficiency and attention to detail! - Ensure compliance, coherence and assist in management of the vendor database and its associated financial systems across the company
- Act as 'gate keeper' and control the integrity and input of the database
- Assist in management of the Vendor Appraisal Process
- Raise capital expenditure orders
- Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Complete credit applications
- Ensure effective and accurate communication between Supply Chain, internal and external customers
- Contribute to continuous improvement in efficiencies and effectiveness in processing daily requests

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

- Attention to detail for achieving thoroughness and accuracy in tasks
- Fully autonomous and strongly driven to meet the targets and SLAs
- Understanding of the supplier registration and maintenance processes
- Knowledge of purchase order, goods receipting and invoicing processes
- Basic knowledge of financial systems and procedures (e.g. SAP, SRM, Proactis)
- Knowledge of capex and its associated processes
- Understanding of basic reporting, spend and financial information - training includes Excel intermediate/Experian reporting.
- Understanding of internal and external stakeholders' needs
- Understanding and awareness of the environment and the business; training to support this element
