1st/2nd Line Support Engineer(1st Line, 2nd Line, AD, Active Directory, Windows, Server, TCP/IP, Service Desk) Permanent Cannock

Search IT are currently looking for a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer on a permanent basis for a very prestigious global business based in Cannock.

Skills/Requirements for the 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer:

* Previous experience working on a Help Desk or Service Desk
* Experience of supporting Active Directory
* Strong Windows Server skills
* General networking skills such as TCI/IP
* Experience of working with desktop Windows technologies such as Windows 7 and 8

Desirable Skills

* ITIL certification or working knowledge
* Microsoft Certifications

Start date is ASAP

The 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to business users via the phone and at their desktops, escalation of incidents to the European 2nd and 3rd line teams, management of tickets and ownership with root cause analysis and support the hardware technologies such as printers and faxes etc.
