The vacancy currently available is for a Bench Hand within contract tooling experience.
You will need to know how to do a range of tool making.
The ideal candidate will have worked with large plastic injection mould tools, therefore needing to operate an overhead crane (license not needed, just experience)
You will be expected to strip, complete modifications, complete repairs, make new tools, assist in on site breakdowns.
There are lots of learning opportunities, for instance, training from a die cast trade and training into plastic moulding.
The client has a variety of moulding capabilities; standard, gas, LPI, LPE, Rim Moulding and Die mould.
Day hours 7am-3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am-2.30pm Fridays and you will be expected to work the 52.5 hours which is 5pm finishes everyday and a Saturday morning.
The night shift hours are 7pm-7am Monday to Thursday, overtime would be Sundays.
Pay is negotiable, around £10-13 per hour. Depending on experience.
