Business Data Analyst
ISS are one of the world’s leading service organisations and we are now actively recruiting for a Business Data Analyst on a 6 month fixed term contract.
The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for the development and delivery of key operational reporting, maintenance of reporting platforms and creation of accurate and timely data solutions for the ISS Technical Services business.
The job holder will maintain large volumes of data and information, supporting various functions, capturing and manipulating data to provide insight and competitive intelligence.
As well as delivering reports you will be involved in data reporting projects and required to supply ad hoc data reports to key stakeholders. A final part of the role is to be the data custodian for Access Databases and retrieve relevant data from systems as required.
Overview of Responsibilities
Develop, deliver and maintain a suite of reports for different parts of the ISS TS business unit.
Act as single point of contact and consult with internal customers to define business requirements.
Translate business requirements into reporting requirements.
Assist the business with key development projects and administration.
Determining priority of incoming work requests.
Maintain documentation regarding business requirements and solutions.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Review integrity of all reports on a periodic basis.
Support with the formulation of Access Reports.
Applications are invited from experienced data analysts who have previous experience in a similar role ideally within FM, engineering, outsourcing or similar industry.
The successful candidate will ideally be degree qualified in a business or numeracy related subject or have higher national qualifications in a finance related discipline.
Additional requirements for the role include:-
Significant experience or qualifications with Access, MS Excel or similar.
An understanding of FM related data.
Proven analytical skills with the ability to collate data from a variety of sources and translate into a format that is clear, concise and easy to understand.
Some understanding of financial accounting.
