Customer Services Manager job at established distribution business based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

Your new company
This growing business in Shrewsbury distributes a variety of products across the Midlands; they are a well run and modern business and are based in newly refurbished offices with free parking on the outskirts of the town. Originally a family run business they now have over 50 staff and are keen to grow their market share over the next few years. They have a strong ethos and culture and pride themselves on excellent and personal customer care and see themselves as innovators in the industry.

Your new role
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will encompass all of the customer service experience; you will be required to manage four direct reports and will be intrinsically involved in their development and coaching. You will manage processes, manage KPI reporting and data and look to maintain a high standard of service and a high OTIF score.

You will take responsibility for problem resolution with clients and, alongside the warehouse manager, you will ensure that the supply chain process runs smoothly ensuring that clients' needs are taken care of with precision and speed. You will ensure that SLA agreements are met and take a proactive role in client management and any future recruitment.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need at least 5 years' experience within customer services and will have already progressed to a team leader or manager level, you will have experience in managing staff and coaching and may have a Customer Service Diploma or CMI qualification. It is important that you have ERP/CRM experience and are adept at Excel and data manipulation.
