Your new role
As accounts manager you will take charge of finance matters within the business and report directly into the directors; you will be expected to complete VAT returns, work with an accounts assistant to ensure that ledgers processes are being managed effectively and use Sage Line 50 to manage the finance function. You may be asked to help with payroll and must be comfortable producing reports and liaising with external accountants.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be AAT qualified and have considerable experience in a variety of industry backgrounds, it is important that you are open to a varied workload and happy to complete a hands on role in a fast moving accounts department, although you do not directly line manage any members of staff it is important that you are comfortable in assigning work to colleagues and working independently.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £28,000 dependent on experience and additional company benefits, you will receive the standard auto enrolment pension as well as between 20-25 days holiday plus statutory per year.
