Our client is the leading workplace service provider in the UK. Since starting in 1963 as a family company with just 200 employees, they have grown rapidly, becoming an international organisation with over 5,000 staff across the UK and Europe. The landscaping services department’s reputation is based on 25 years’ experience providing expert plant and landscaping services to UK businesses’. Currently, they offer a wide variety of services including; outdoor planting displays, festive lighting displays and decor, artificial plants and trees, corporate reception displays and botanical garden installations.
An opportunity has become available for a Regional Development Manager to cover the North - Midlands and Manchester Areas. Primarily a new business role, you will build a joint regional strategy with the management team and work in collaboration with the Regional Account Manager to maximise Regional activity and profit. Attending self-generated and pre-arranged meetings and surveys in order to provide quotations and contract proposals to potential customers.
We seek applications from candidates that are able to inspire, motivate, influence and work closely with the Regional Account Manager. You must be able to negotiate strongly without jeopardising a positive outcome. Excellent presentation skills, a natural self-starter and confident with developing new opportunities from scratch will make you an ideal candidate. You should have a strong commercial mind and be able to make logical and well thought out decisions as well as be able to work well under pressure without compromise.
This is a home based role with access to office space as required.
