Position Description:

With a strong focus on the needs of our customer, JLR are aggressively seeking to deliver many new and innovative features across a range of already complex mechatronic products. This is your opportunity to help in the creation of those features which our customers will perceive as world class. As a system integration and test engineer you are responsible for undertaking the interface analysis of systems to ensure both electrical and mechanical integration into the vehicle. The system interface specification or control document is developed in conjunction with the system engineers and system architects. Furthermore the development and execution of the system integration and test of highly complex features both virtually and physically on the vehicle is a key responsibility.
This position includes the following tasks: System Integration Plan development (Include both hardware and software). System Test design, planning and execution. System Integration (both electrical and physical).

KEY SKILLS
Good relevant experience of working in a Systems Engineering environment - ideally within the Automotive Sector - minim um 3 years.
Model based systems engineering (MBSE)
Requirements Management (RM)

Experience Required:
Ideally degree qualified or equivalent
Good verbal and written communications
Analytical and problem solving skills
Track record as an effective team player with strong interpersonal skills
Experience in SysML / IBM Rational Rhapsody / IBM Rational DOORS / IBM Rational Team Concert
Relevant experience of system definition, system architecture development, requirements capture, design/performance modelling, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance

Experience Preferred:
Project management skills
Experience in Embedded Systems and Systems of Systems development
Preference for 5 years of relevant experience.

Potential for work to be located within Warwickshire, at our Gaydon, and occasional travel to our Whitley and Warwick University sites.
