Assisting with event administration for European Events for a Trade Association. An exciting administration role venue sourcing, preparation of events, invitation and liaison of members and travel planning. Offering opportunities of European travel for the successful candidate.
This is a full time role for a small, friendly and progressive company based in Shrewsbury.
The role will involve
- Liaising with members by telephone, internal and external email
- Proofreading promotional literature
- Customer database administration
- Assisting with the pre and post logistics and organising of events
Candidates must be able to use Microsoft Office, have excellent communication, be organised and prepared for European travel 3 - 5 times per year.
Candidates with a Marketing / Events degree or experience in these fields would have an advantage.
The position will be based in Shrewsbury. Normal working hours 08.30 – 17.00 Monday –Thursday including 1 hour lunch break and 08.30 – 13.30 Friday plus as required when travelling.
