Sales Ledger/Financial Reconciliations Assistant
Pay: up to £17,500 pa (35 hours per week Mon-Fri)
greenwellgleeson is recruiting for a temporary to permanent Sales Ledger Assistant for a well known business in Lichfield.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Sales Ledger function working on large volumes of bank reconciliation. You will need strong Excel skills specifically experience using v-look up tables, an understanding of sales ledgers process and professional telephone manor within a busy environment is essential.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Processing credit card payments
Processing Cheques, returned cheques and Cash receipts
Entering Direct Debit amendments & Reconciling direct debit receipts
Bank and petty cash reconciliations
Creating receipt upload files in Excel
Dealing with any finance related queries
Creating journal files in Excel for upload
Processing of monthly fees
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of excel, Bank reconciliations and previous experience within a similar environment would be desirable. A good telephone manner, confidence in dealing with customers via email, phone or face to face is essential.
