Payroll/HR Administrator



My client is a progressive Technology company based in Shrewsbury. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking for a confident candidate to look after their Payroll and be a support to their HR function. You will play a key role within this organisation, where duties and responsibility will include:


  • Payroll provision and support for approximately 190 salaried employees using Sage Payroll
  • Adding new starters to the payroll and processing leavers including P45/P46s
  • Dealing with all SSP, SSP, SMP, Pension, Holiday calculations, etc
  • Payroll month/year end processes (Income Tax/NI Contributions etc) including P60s/P11Ds
  • Liaising with HMRC where necessary


  • Issuing Contracts of Employment and maintaining employee records
  • Monitoring Time and Attendance
  • General support to the HR Manager with day to day HR Administration duties

The ideal candidate will have experience to suit the above responsibilities, be familiar with Sage Payroll and be a confident communicator. This positon would suit a confident individual with excellent communication skills, who has an adaptable approach in this ever changing environment.
