In Europe we are focused on 6 key business platforms; we specialise in Water Treatment, Waste Water, Parts Cleaning, Lubricants & Fuel Additives, Tools & Fasteners and Maintenance providing solutions to customers across the hospitality, industrial and infrastructure sectors.


Our European Strategy & Reporting team have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Data Analyst to join us at our European Headquarters in Bilston, Wolverhampton. The successful candidate should have a strong working knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality principles as well as previous experience using SQL Server Management studio. The Strategy and Reporting team is one of the newest teams in our organisation providing up to date business insight across our organisation.

*Producing data mining scripts and data extraction scripts using PSQL and SQL (SSMS).
*Understanding of the impact of data changes.
*Supporting the delivery of major projects.
*Liaising with stakeholders to ensure that detailed requirements are met.
*Evaluating data to identify patterns and trends in the information.


*Experience working as a Business Analyst on technical projects and programs.
*Strong knowledge of SQL and at least one relational database platform, eg. Oracle.
*The ability to explain data gathering and analytical approaches to all levels of the IT and business community.
*Solid understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality principles.

*SQL, Access and Excel skills are essential.
*Strong analytical skills, proficiency in root cause analysis, and ability to solve problems and craft business solutions are desirable.

*Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain data gathering and analytical approaches to all levels of the IT and business community.

Working as part of a small team, the Business Data Analyst should work well with others, sharing workloads where required and have the ability to build rapport across the organisation with a range of stakeholders and colleagues. The successful candidate should have excellent problem solving skills with the ability to offer solutions on a range of reporting queries.
