This Physics Teaching Assistant position involves working within the school's successful Science Department. You will be supporting the increasingly popular Science Department and working to develop your abilities with the help of the school's training and CPD plan. You will assist the teacher by helping to plan lessons and ensuring the necessary class resources are available to use in class. Day-to-day, you will be working in a supportive culture enabled by the highly-skilled Head of Science.
Located within the LEA of Dudley, this well-run secondary school is is easily accessible by public transport and a large, secure car park is available. It benefits from excellent facilities including large grounds and is proud of its last 'good' rating from Ofsted. It has an excellent track record in developing staff and is now a Training School and enjoys an envious relationship with the local community.
This role would suit an enthusiastic Science graduate who has a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role and an impressive academic record with a 2:1 or better in your degree.
