Food Technology Teacher
ITN Mark Education are recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher for a secondary school in South Birmingham.
The school are going through some positive changes with regards to teaching quality and pupil progress, and they are keen to appoint a teacher with the drive and determination to contribute to the raising of standards.
They are happy to consider applications from experienced teachers as well as NQTs.
Staff enjoy strong working relationships with colleagues and pupils, and offer regular CPD. For NQTs, the support is exceptional and the vast majority of NQTs forge very successful careers within the Academy group.
The successful candidate will hold UK QTS, QTLS or NQT status, have good classroom management skills, and the ability to engage, motivate and encourage students through strong lesson planning using a variety of resources. You should be a subject specialist and be able to deliver 'Good' or 'Outstanding' lessons. You will be teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Food Technology.
The role is full time and long term to cover a maternity leave, and the school hope to appoint their new teacher ready for a September start. The role is immediately available, so they would be interested in hearing from candidates that are able to start sooner.
