Supporting the Executive Chef, working on Conferencing, VIP Dinners, and high volume catering within a large organisation.

Client Details

A large well established organisation with lovely premises


Assist the Executive Chef

Assist in the management of the cost effectiveness

Responsible for the food production and control of key areas of the business

Manage the Back of House team of Stores and Catering/ kitchen

Responsible for the day to day (shift) Management of the main brigade of chefs and Back of House teams.

Assist in the control and ordering of all stock items

To manage / support the implementation of menus, recipes, production processes

Ensure day to day staffing levels are appropriate

Assist in the management of all Human Resource activity


You will have a background in a similar high volume environment. The successful candidate will be flexible and will be able to work on a range of different types of food - from very simple foods up to fine dining

Previous experience of managing staff, food production, working with stock control systems and multi site experience

Advanced Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent

City and Guilds or NVQ levels 1/2/3 or equivalent

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Job Offer

Salary £26,000 - £28,000
