Your new role
To work as part of a team or as an individual you will be performing a wide range of tasks based on the development and maintenance of the SAS DataMart for risk modelling and reporting. You will be running the regular updates of the developed data structures as well as ensuring data quality, governance controls and audit trails. You will be required to develop SAS language using WPS Workbench as well as maintaining, developing and enhancing the SAS Risk DataMart. This role also involves investigating and resolving data issues in addition to understanding and applying data management industry best practice.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be experienced with SAS language coding development, including Base and Macros, as well as being experienced with proc SQL. Being proficient in data interrogation, manipulation, analysis and reporting as well as being skilled in MS Office is also an essential requirement for this role. You will be able to adapt to constantly changing deadlines and have strong time management skills. Excellent communication and a high degree of personal motivation along with being able to build relationships with customers and stakeholders are also attributes that will be needed. Having experience of the financial services industry will be a massive benefit in this role however this is not essential. Other desired skills include experience of Business Objects, Oracle DB and a SAS or Advanced SAS certification.
