Year 1 Class Teacher
Lost & Found Recruitment are currently working with a small Primary School located in South Birmingham, the school which has recently been rated as 'GOOD' by Ofsted are seeking an experienced teacher for their year 1 Class from September 2017 for the whole of the academic year.
Working in a medium sized primary school in Birmingham where you will be joining a successful KS1 team where you will be responsible for a large year 1 class and delivering exciting lesson in line with the national curriculum that encourages pupils to learn.
Your new role
Your new role will be in a large class of 30 pupils, with a full time teaching assistant for support. You will need to be confident in planning, preparing and assessing pupils' work as well as able to work as part of the teaching team
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a Primary Teacher you will need to have qualified teacher status. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to TAs and other people in the school.
