Transport Assistant required to work for our Cradley Heath based client. This is a varied role and would suit a professional person with good problem solving skills and a professional telephone manner.
Key duties will include monitoring orders and planning outbound transport requirements on the SAP systems, producing required documents for warehouse pick lists and deliveries, and arranging deliveries of pallets and completing associated paperwork. You will also be required to ensure all telephone calls and communications are answered in a timely and professional manner.
Standard working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate would have previous knowledge of co-ordinating in and out bound transport deliveries, and be computer literate with general awareness of UK and EU geography. GCSE grades C or above in Maths and English would be an advantage.
