You must be a confident Physics graduate who has achieved a minimum 2:2 in your degree. The ideal candidate will be able to provide the perfect environment to motivate and encourage ambition in their pupils. This Graduate Teaching Assistant/TA position involves assisting with general support throughout the schools Maths and Physics departments. The leadership team have a habit of taking on their favourite support staff in a more permanent capacity through the School Direct teacher training plan. Day-to-day, you will be acting as a mentor for your pupils, taking some out of lessons for 1:1 tuition and teaching others in group sessions. Your duties will include planning a range of interesting activities and lessons for the children, while also helping with pre-class preparation and resource development.
