To be considered for this position you must be a confident and enthusiastic Maths graduate who has a degree at a 2:2 or better and ideally worked with children in either a volunteer or school role. You must have the ability to provide lessons that tackle even most demanding of areas and face difficult situations head on. We want to recruit a graduate who has the skills to show initiative and take on responsibility. The school wants to recruit someone who has a real interest in playing a part in the running of after-school clubs and whole school activities.
As a Maths Teaching Assistant your role will involve you assisting class teachers within the Mathematics Department. Providing support, through one to one and group mentoring sessions, you will be helping students increase their learning. In this post you will be enjoying a role that could help to fast-track your QTS, by earning you a place on a School Direct scheme at the same school.
