Supplier MI Coordinator - Warwick

The Central Operations department at Calor's Head office in Warwick have an exciting opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to join their team on a full time, permanent basis to act as a link between Calor its largest temporary labour supplier. The successful candidate will act as a critical point of contact that will provide the business with a greater level of visibility and understanding of our temporary labour supplier's performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a standardised evaluation and reporting process and will produce key metrics to help the company to proactively work with our suppliers, identify issues and promote improvements.

The long term vision will be to help the business reshape the strategic and long term supplier relationship with shared goals and objectives that produce sustainable results for both parties.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and maintain the consistent application of Calor's temporary labour sourcing agreement in line with existing contractual SLAs
  • Lead regular supplier performance reviews and attend the steering group meetings to report on supplier/business activities, agree action plans and/or supplier/business improvement requirements
  • Provide comprehensive management reports and proactively contribute and make recommendations for the improvement of Supply Chain policies and processes
  • Maintain close relationships with all Calor UK sites to develop, administer and communicate relevant labour supplier related management information
  • Continue rollout of Plant Payroll application

Key skills and experience required:

Essential:

  • Strong computer literacy skills, confident in applying analytics to business data to describe, predict, and improve business performance
  • Competency with Microsoft Office suite; particular emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, Access
  • Ability to problem solve and support others under pressure
  • Good level of communication skills, with the ability to be able to communicate with people at all levels
  • Ability to source information when and where needed from a wide variety of sources
  • Full UK Driver's license
  • Willingness to travel to Calor sites to conduct core duties

Desirable:

  • Educated to degree level at first degree or masters level
  • Knowledge of procurement policies
  • Member of relevant professional organisation e.g. CIPS
  • Proven expertise in a similar position; managing contracts, procedures and/or legislation
