Digital Product Development Manager – Liverpool – Permanent

The Digital Product Development Manager will be a dynamic, innovative and driven professional with responsibility for understanding the current and future needs of our clients (Retailers) and customers.

We are after Individuals who possess a strong product instinct, a refined design sense, and who are also passionate about creating and delivering compelling and profitable products and service offerings.
Digital Product Development Manager responsibilities:
Develop, manage and deliver new and innovative digital consumer and product propositions across our business
Shape and deliver the business case and benefits realisation to support the delivery and success of the new digital products
Actively take ownership of projects agreed as part of new product development team / strategy agenda.
Lead each project/ initiative from inception to completion
Work closely with the commercial and sales functions to support them
Influence decision-makers to ensure the right decisions are taken at the right time
Contribute to the product strategy.
Evaluate and understand market trends and client and customer needs to drive product development.
Execution of a product development implementation plan to reduce time from idea to revenue.
Manage cross-functional engagement and delivery of the agreed product development roadmap.
Work cross functionally to deliver the best products.

Digital Product Development Manager Experience:
Excellent analytical skills & experienced in using analytics to drive Product decisions.
Creative, with strong organisational and project management skills.
Motivated self-starter; problem solver, enjoys creating something new. Action orientated with a clear focus on delivery.
A very good understanding of the B2B and B2C express UK parcel market.
A very good understanding of the multichannel retailer model.
Excellent understanding of the e-commerce market dynamic.
Proven ability in dealing with and presenting to senior management teams
Ability to work autonomously within a team dynamic environment
Experience of working within a highly competitive and pressurised operating environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent Word / Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Essential knowledge in Online Retail Industry: Shopping solutions and User Interfaces
knowledge
Significant experience overseeing full lifecycle digital products, with a strong understanding of web, mobile and apps.

Education/Qualifications:
University degree in IT / Business / Marketing / Product
Experience of Agile/Scrum methods, an Agile Product Owner certification (or similar) would be a plus but not essential.
