Primary Responsibilities of this role is of the successful delivery of the project in accordance with agreed, time, budget, scope, and specifications.
This role collaborates the responsibilities of a business analyst and a project manager.
The Business Project Manager is responsible for the entire lifecycle of the Project, commencing with proposal stage, involving Feasibility Analysis, Business Case & PID. On approval, the Business Project Manager assumes complete Business Analysis and project management responsibilities.
Oversee the Day to day activities of the Project to accomplish project objectives/deliverables.
Ensure Projects are planned and executed in line with the agreed Project Approach.
Coordinating with the Project Team during the Project Lifecycle. Working with the Sponsor/Project Lead (Business Process Owner) from Inception to Closure of project.
Developing Project Documentation and Maintaining the Project Library.
Managing and Coordinating Resources as appropriate to the project.
Developing the Project Plans, Tasks summary, Workbreakdown structure & agree with Project team, the responsibilities and accountabilities.
Maintaining Project Risk & Issue Log. Track Risks and Issue Progress. Escalation and Report when necessary, to sponsor / steering group.
Develop and maintain a Communications Plan and keep the stakeholders and business appraised of project plans and related implications.
Manage Project Reporting, as per agreed schedules, to provide progress reports and management reports.
Manage Change Requests and coordinate with Sponsor, Business Lead (Business Process Owner), Steering Group.
Continuous evaluation to ensure deliverables meet required quality standards.
Coordination of Internal business functions and external service providers, as necessary to meet project timescales.
To Support the Project Management and Analysis depart when necessary on Business Initiatives and Change projects
Work with Business Lead(Business Process Owner) in production of high level and detailed customer business requirements. Review requirements to ensure they provides a firm basis for design and development or service/product selection to proceed
Produce Detailed Functional Designs, by negotiating with the Business Lead(Business Process Owner) and any external suppliers to agree an appropriate solution that fully meets the business requirements
Produce Detailed Design Packages in accordance with high level design specifications, ensuring that products are delivered to project timescales and in accordance with the quality standards ( This information can be obtained from IT Department or External Suppliers)
Ensure work product reviews are carried out effectively in line with the Project Plan.
Provide end-to-end support during the development lifecycle and Go Live to ensure specified criteria and timescales and met
Report resource engagement and progress on Liquid Planner.
Provide inputs related to work package estimates and project estimating guidelines;
Manage the work products allocated as per configuration management procedures defined in the project plan;
Manage the work products allocated as per change management procedures defined in the project plan;
Comply with Selco/Grafton security requirements
