Our client based in Birmingham are a professional services fir looking to recruit a Hospitality Assistant to work within their wider facilities team. The role will be to provide a housekeeping and hospitality service to the Birmingham office maintaining a clean and tidy environment throughout the client suite, conference rooms, training room, staff kitchens, and agile areas..

The role is ideal for someone currently working in hospitality looking for more social hours working Monday to Friday without evenings and weekends. The role will entail:

  • Working alongside the reception team as to what is required for each meeting daily /weekly
  • Physically setting up meeting rooms daily. This will include moving furniture around, and opening and closing the folding walls
  • Set up of food and beverage requirements
  • Keeping the client kitchen to a high standard of cleanliness and in full working order
  • Assisting Front of House with Audio Visual Units in the meeting rooms. Troubleshooting any issues, contacting our Information Systems Team when help is required
  • Ordering buffets for meetings and events
  • Assisting in the organisation of large events along with Estates Team
  • Invoice checking and completion (along with Reception Team)
  • Completing kitchen inspections and clean throughout the day
  • Checking and cleaning restrooms and checking stock.
  • Moving meeting room furniture and folding walls
  • Weekly stock check of regular Estates items
  • Assisting the Reprographics Team during busy periods (giving out post in the mornings on occasion etc.)
  • Assist Team Leader in clearing desks and new starter set up for staff
  • Visual inspection of meeting rooms, including floor boxes to ensure all wiring is tidy and safe
  • Liaise with facilities Team to report any faults, and guiding Maintenance Engineers whilst on site
  • Liaise with outsource Facilities Company regarding any maintenance issues
  • Stock check and replenishment in all areas (restrooms / meeting rooms / kitchens)
  • Online ordering of consumables
  • Complete Health and Safety Management Report on a monthly basis
