Currently we are looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join our team in our Telford Office.

Salary range £20-£25k per annum based on experience.

Reporting into the Head of Business Improvement you will be responsible for:

  • Collation, maintenance and management of data relating to the payment of PA’s from internal and external sources to include new starters, leavers, P45/P46’s AoE’s, SSP & SMP

  • Alongside Admin Team checking and preparing payslips and other documentation to be distributed monthly to PA’s.

  • General admin tasks relating to the supply of information for payroll purposes including scanning/faxing/filing documents

  • Answering calls from PA’s and external partners and facilitating responses through colleagues within our centralised Finance Team

  • Collating, maintaining and management of payroll queries to include communication with PA’s and liaising with Care Coordinators, Care Managers & HR

  • Management of Bankline Payments, Advances & Underpayments in liaison with our Finance Department

  • Collating and processing payments of our PA’s expenses

  • Support Care Managers with the coordination and management of Annual Leave across our PA workforce

  • Dealing with invoices for payment

  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship also with our Finance Team in Nottingham

  • Occasional travel to other sites may be required once a month

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent proven payroll experience
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Be proactive and have the ability to work autonomously
  • Previous experience in similar role is preferred

Desirable experience but not essential:

  • Payroll qualification either CIPP or IAB
