Front End Web Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to join an inspirational and unique business based near Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, Birmingham, West Midlands. The role is for a UI/UX Developer and is paying between £40k - £50k plus great benefits.

You should have a proven track record as a UI/UX Developer / analyst programmer.

The role is to ensure that client solutions are robust, are compatible, appropriate and more than aligned with business needs. You will deliver first class technical solutions to real world business problems.

In your previous role you will have experience of:

  • Being a Front End Web Developer, or, front end web development,

  • Owning client-facing component of your company's web products.

  • Company's design and usability of interface

  • Working with developers to create web apps with: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Discussing technical specifications with teams
  • Building responsive HTML solutions with support across multiple browsers and devices
  • Developing new user-facing features
  • Building reusable code and libraries
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Web application testing and be able to use test tools to write automated functional tests

Experience required

  • Extensive in-depth experience
  • Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Good jQuery
  • Experience with gulp (or similar)
  • Experience of at least one JavaScript framework, such as react or angular

Desirable:

Some graphic design experienceA basic understanding of backend developmentExperience with GitBasic knowledge of SQL
