National Impact Manager RAC
The RAC are now seeking to recruit for National Impact Manager - Direct Sales Force who will oversee the management function of all RAC Regional Sales Managers throughout the England, Wales and Scotland.
Ideally you will currently be in a similar national sales management role and seeking to join a blue chip organisation that offers a great brand and working environment.
This is very much a position where you will be managing the managers.
Ensuring all KPI are achieved throughout each region.
You will have a strong character with excellent communication skills who can develop the managers and ensure a motivated and efficient team are in place.Role Purpose:
To support the national channel lead in delivering regional and overall national performance of the Direct Sales Force (DSF) through;
Supporting ASM with performance management techniques, Create development plans and work with agents/ASMs to implement and evaluate results.
Ensure delivery against targeted returns, Provide feedback to channel lead and training teams with opportunities to improve ways of working.
Performance is measured by sales volume and revenue through sub metrics such as productivity, headcount and site days worked. Sales need to be made compliantly and in line with FCA requirements and build the RAC brand.
KPI responsibility for unit, revenue, ARPU, productivity, headcount, man days, breakdown extras, cancellation targets and compliance/quality metrics as agreed with National Sales Managers annually.
Work with the National channel lead to drive & maintain regional headcount at a level to support the achievement of channel KPI`s.
Role Purpose Outcomes - The role needs to deliver:
Individual Membership targets communicated at start of year, including unit, revenue, ARPU, headcount, man days and cancellation, through:
Direct Sales Agents
Develop, drive and coach sales agents and area managers to ensure that they deliver agreed sales targets, ensuring compliance criteria are met for all sales
Collate and analyse daily team sales figures and take the appropriate action
Ensure effective communication channels with agents and managers are in place to help improve morale and retention in each region.
Ensure consistent business planning meetings are conducted in each region and that improvement plans are in place where appropriate to ensure that the standards of the team are continuously raised.
Work with Recruitment Manager/National Channel Lead to ensure that all regions maintain and grow headcount targets in line with venue availability and growth targets.
ComplianceEnsure products are sold in a compliant manner & coach agents/ASMs on improvements if applicable.
Identify and share any compliance risks with the compliance team/ National Channel Lead
Site ManagementDevelop a framework for site rostering and rotating (if required) and then ensure consistent national implementation.
FinanceIdentify cost savings opportunities through harmonisation across all regions.
Cross-sell / Up-sell
Improve channel Breakdown Extras revenues.
Develop relationships with Product Managers/Commercial and support DSF in product trials where required.
Experience of consumer sales, gained within a fast paced, high volume/profile consumer services brand.
Experience of leading a field based sales agent team to achieve targets.
Experience of driving sales acquisition through commission plans, incentives, reward and recognition.
Good level of commercial awareness.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
Knowledge/experience of how to lead, recruit, coach and motivate large teams.
Regular national travel.
Good working knowledge of FCA and compliance procedures
This role has a National remit, ideal candidates should be ideally located in the Midlands or Bristol, regular overnight stays required.
£36,000 Basic Salary (OTE £60-70,000)
