This English Teaching Assistant vacancy is designed for an inventive English graduate who has earned a second class degree or better and already spent time in a role where you worked closely with children. You must be able to show a real passion for education and handle difficult situations professionally. The Headteacher wants to recruit an English Teaching Assistant with a desire to learn and develop their teaching skills in this school and dedicate themselves to a career in teaching.

In this exciting English Teaching Assistant position you will be working in the school’s English department you will be tasked with supporting the English teachers and their pupils. You will be spread across different year groups depending on the demands of the department. However the main focus of the recruited graduates work will be with pupils in Key Stage 4 as they approach their GCSE. The school are keen to find a graduate that is able to come up with new and innovative methods to help pupils learn, especially those of lower ability that might not always respond to more traditional teaching methods.
