Customer Service Administrator

Redditch • £8.50 per hour • Ongoing temporary work

Role Summary:

To co-ordinate and administer essential customer support functions, ensuring their effective and timely delivery. To carry out purchasing activities for Customer Services. To provide additional customer service administration as required by the Customer Service & Office Coordinator.

Job Description:

Day to Day duties for a Customer Service Administrator:

• Fulfill all purchasing activities for the customers, internal & external

• All weekly and monthly administration tasks completed on schedule

• The administration of supplier invoices for support services

• File and retrieve organisational documents, records and reports.

• Keep Managers appraised of the status of situations as required and implement customer escalation processes and procedures

• Maintain communication with the customer at the agreed frequency or as specified in the SLA/Contract

• Produce customer reports and statistics when requested and as required by contracted SLAs

• Issue incident reports to customers where applicable and as required by contracted SLAs

• Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to; accounting, copying, faxing, mailing and filing.

• Professionally send and respond to telephone calls, emails and any other electronic or hard copy communications.

• Provide effective administration of quotations, queries, purchase orders, requests, general enquiries, filing, etc.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this Customer service administration role you will need to;

• Previous purchasing experience

• Demonstrable ability at proof-reading documents with good attention to detail

• Proven experience of providing a high standard of customer service both internally and externally

• Professional approach to customer service

• Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft office

• Takes initiative – self starter

• Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers

• Demonstrates initiative

• Communicates openly, effectively and consistently with all stakeholder groups

• Deals effectively with people at all levels both internally and externally

• Communicates effectively whether face to face, via telephone or in writing
