Our client based in Tutbury is on the look for an organised and intuitive Sales/Customer Support representative to join their busy and expanding team on a temporary basis.

The hours of work are between 9AM-5PM and the salary offers an attractive £18,000 PA.

The role of an Internal Sales / Customer Support representative is to service the needs of a company's existing clients, respond to new sales inquiries and to support the activities of the business. This position is well suited to individuals with excellent communication & people skills and is one of the best ways for anyone considering an outbound sales role to gain relevant experience.

Duties & Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

• Receive inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations, product / service information, support and pricing details in response to inbound enquiries, promoting the features and benefits of the company's products / services

• Assisting with order processing including receiving, processing and reviewing customer transactions and service enquiries received by phone and mail/e-mail; includes rectifying customer problems within ability or passing problems to higher authority

• Process sales orders and arrange the scheduling and administration of products / services sold

• Improving processes, forms and procedures to maximise team efficiency

• Relaying campaign and pricing information to the sales team and providing quotations, samples and product literature to customers on request

• Assisting in the selling process through customer education and direct personal contact

• Assisting the management team in maintaining their existing user base, developing new business and new clients, managing and updating client records where appropriate

• Provide administrative support for the production of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and other sales related documents

• Maintain client databases

Desirable qualifications & Experience include:

• At least 1 - 3 years experience in a similar role within a sales / customer service environment.
