Salary: £26,000 to £30,000

Location: Coventry, West Midlands

Position: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday (0900 hrs 1700 hrs)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Application Engineer to join a global industry partner based in Coventry. In return, our client offers a competitive salary and benefits including company car, private health cover, onsite parking, complimentary gym membership and company pension.

The Client is a leading innovator in the development of optical 3D metrology systems and measurement software. They set new standards in industrial metrology with their holistic solutions and are successful with them all over the globe. Their base of international customers includes companies from the automotive, aviation and aerospace industries as well as the consumer goods industry and their suppliers.

The Application Engineer will be responsible for travelling throughout the UK, demonstrating equipment to customers.

Applications from suitably experienced ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support of sales projects
  • Preparation and execution of system demonstrations and training
  • Customer support and assistance

The successful Application Engineer will have the following:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or apprenticeship with experience in metrology or CAD/CAM Applications
  • Ability and experience of using application software within a technical environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence
