The post will require someone with previous experience of working in CAMHS settings, specifically within Looked After Children’s services.

Cambian Children’s Services

Cambian Child Services provide a range of services for children and young people who have experienced significant trauma which has resulted in their need for residential care. Our residential homes which are supported by a multi-disciplinary team and the young people we care for present with a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties as a result of their experiences.

Job Role

Due to an expansion of service provision, we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed individual with a recognised professional qualification and experience of working with children and young people to be part of a Multi-Disciplinary team, providing a high quality service for children and adolescents in residential care. The post will work with the local MDT and ensure that children receive appropriate clinical care. This will include undertaking assessments and provide interventions to young people alongside care planning and providing consultation to care staff. The successful candidate will have experience in a comprehensive range of psychological therapies (ideally including DDP, CBT and DBT), risk assessment, consultation, training and supervision. You will need the ability to display leadership, work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Candidate Profile

You will be a strong team player, confident, motivated and well organised. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all you’ll be someone with a genuine desire to help others.

You will have degree level training in a recognised professional mental health care area clinical and will have experience of working with a LAC CAMHS.
