A progressive consultancy based in Birmingham City Centre is seeking a Team Secretary/Administrator to work alongside the office manager and provide excellent support. Although secretarial/admin duties will be vital, the successful applicant will be able to adapt and utilize their skills within a variety of tasks.

As an extremely varied role, the position will primarily involve:

  • Handling a variety of correspondence and responding to calls professionally
  • Extensive diary management and coordination of meetings
  • Preparation of reports
  • Implantation of new procedures and systems
  • Liaison with different departments, organisations and clients
  • Elements of reception work including meeting and greeting clients
  • Support with marketing materials, events and functions
  • Contribution to the website and social media, ensuring everything is up to date
  • General office assistance when required

The ideal individual will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Ideally, previous experience within a secretarial/administrative capacity
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
