The successful applicant for this Teaching Assistant role will be a motivated Chemistry graduate who ideally has some experience working with secondary aged children in either a paid or voluntary role, although this is not essential. It is essential for you to possess the ability to help students discover their own love of learning through sharing your own passion for education. Ideally, the school need a graduate who is able to exhibit the right attitude and drive that will allow them to excel in the teaching field for the rest of their career.

In this Teaching Assistant post you will be spending most of your working day within the school's Science Department, enhancing your skills through a brilliant CPD programme. You will have the responsibility of preparing the classroom for the upcoming lesson by ensuring all resources required are available to use. All support staff are helped along by a mentor who is an accomplished Class Teacher and will help youl lead pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
