This job opening is for a Production Manager to join our passionate and knowledgeable team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Site Senior Team, responsible for leading and managing the production teams in order to achieve safety, quality and productivity standards and ensuring timely delivery of good quality product.
What will I be doing in the role?
In the role as Production Manager you will;
Be responsible for all aspects of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) management within the production areas
Drive a positive ‘behavioural safety’ culture amongst the site teams, targeting zero unsafe acts/conditions
Ensure that quality is actively reviewed at all levels of the process control system
Ensure full adherence against company ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Manage and develop all team members, developing a high performance team environment
Contribute to and implement resource planning for production teams
Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Degree/HNC qualification or equivalent, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering or business discipline
Experience in the manufacturing/production environment within management roles
Exposure to implementing continuous improvement and cultural change
A clear and strong commitment to EHS and able to disseminate and champion this within a team
Knowledge of the process flow and systems of work across production environment
The ability to prioritise and organise own work effectively
The ability to deputise for the Site Manager

Salary – Up to £45,000 dependent on skills and experience (plus bonus).
