Social Media Executive
Brand new role with an expanding online subscription specialist as Social Media Executive. If you're keen to work with a brand that is having a real push towards social media and community, then this is an opportunity not to be missed!
We first worked with this client two years ago, and we're delighted to be working with them again as they expand their marketing team, having achieved considerable success. They publish and develop an online subscription service that is sold to both the consumer and B2B, and while they're a relatively small team, they're award-wining and have a really distinctive profile within their field. The role of Social Media Executive will develop the social media strategy to the separate areas of their business, which include the teaching profession, parents of young children, and reputation management for the business, and then fully implement it and build community relations, ensuring the brand is really developed across all social media platforms. You'll write blogs and post across Facebook and Twitter, but you'll also be happy to develop more visual content for Pinterest and Instagram. It will be your responsibility to find out where your demographics live in the social media world, and to develop ways of increasing brand awareness within the digital space.
What we're looking for
We're looking for candidates with a strong commercial social media background. Ideally, you will have developed social media strategy and implemented it, and will now be in a position to advise and 'sell' your ideas to management. Experience within education or the family sectors would be a real advantage, but experience developing social from the ground up would also be of huge value. Our client is very open to the level of experience candidates have achieved, and would also consider flexible working.
What's on offer
As the first social media-specific role in the company, this is an ideal opportunity to work with the Directors of the business to shape your role. The team is close-knit and hard-working, but with a really friendly environment. On top of a salary of between £20,000 and £25,000, depending on experience, the role is centrally located with easy access to public transport. Please apply now, or contact Emma at AF Selection for an informal discussion.
