Children's Support Worker required for immediate start in Coventry, full and part time hours, competitive pay
Your new company
Hays are a local agency working in partnership with a children's residential home that supports those with physical and learning needs. They are looking for ongoing support both on a full and part time basis.
Your new role
In your new role as a children's Support Worker you will be working within a residential home supporting those with physical and learning needs including those with Autism, Asperger's and Downs Syndrome. You will be responsible for assisting with all daily aspects of the service users lives including meal times, recreational activities and personal hygiene.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role as a children's support worker you will need to have previous experience working with children with additional needs either in a residential or school based setting. You will need to hold a Level 3 qualification within childcare or youth studies and be able to provide at least 2 references of previous experience.
