Experienced Sous Chef
My client are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to work with in the kitchen at their prestigious hotel in Telford, cooking and presenting seasonal a’la carte, bar food, room service and carvery dishes for our guests to enjoy. Working with the Head Chef to supervise, manage, develop and mentor a team of Chefs and Kitchen Porters. Responsible for ensuring ordering is carried out, the kitchen is organised and prepared for service and that food hygiene practices are adhered to at all times.
This role will appeal to an experienced chef with a passion for training and developing a team. You will need to be self-motivated and organised, with the ability to cope with volume and busy service. Supervisory experience in a kitchen environment is essential. You will have an up to date L2 Food Hygiene certificate, and Level 3 NVQ in Professional Cookery alongside working knowledge of HACCP.
