Wills and Probate Executive / Paralegal

Your responsibilities will be to carry out private client work, working in accordance with the Firm’s Manual and acting at all times in an appropriate manner as an employee of a professional practice.
• Attending clients and taking instructions • Preparation of wills • Tax planning, referring to Line Manager as necessary • Preparation of Power of Attorneys • Simple probates under supervision of Line Manager • Carry out own typing as necessary • Maintenance of files and preparation of full attendance notes • Preparation of bills • Responsibility for storage of wills and maintenance of database • Undertaking any reasonable instructions made by partners, department heads or fee earners within the limits of this job description • Assistance with Departmental Marketing Initiatives • Time Recording in conjunction with Firm Policy
You will need good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook, be highly organised with excellent communication skills and have a polite and patient manner.
