Team Leader Pension Administrator: Our client is seeking an experienced Team Leader Pension Administrator to lead a team of Pension Administrators. You must have commercial credibility, drive, resilience, leadership and influence to lead a team of administrators within defined benefit pension administrators department.

You must have the ability to follow processes/procedures and be able to plan, prioritise and delegate tasks with working knowledge and experience of Pensions Administration and Pensions Legislation and Regulation.

The position is a full-time six month fixed term contract with the potential to extend. APPLY NOW

  • Management of ensuring the team calculate and pay out member benefits correctly
  • Check benefit calculations performed by the team
  • Liaise with technical experts on specific member cases
  • Organise and prioritise the teams’ work
  • Point of technical reference for the team
  • Authorise the work of the team
  • Manage the workload/distribution of work to the team
  • Work within quality standards/agreed service levels
  • Follow processes and procedures
  • Drive change and improvement in team/processes
  • Provide 'on job’ training to admin staff
  • Strong skills in Word and Excel


  • At least two years experiences as a Team Leader in DB/DC
  • At least three years experience working in DB
  • PMI - essential
  • APMI - desirable
  • Familiar with BizFlow, SharePoint and Practice Engine


  • £45,000 - £55,000 depending upon experience
  • Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • 20 days holiday + eight Public Holidays
  • Auto-enrol pension with co. contribution 4% after probationary period
  • Private medical cover after 3 month probationary period
  • Fixed Term Contract for 6 months with possibility to extend
