ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT REQUIRED FOR AN IMMEDIATE AUGUST START!! BASED IN WARWICK £20,000 - £24,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE - 12 MONTH MATERNITY COVER

My client is an international award winning business, they are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The role is responsible for the preparation for the preparation of all financial information and for looking after all finance related processes. The function is also responsible for internal and external audits of the information and processors for payroll. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fantastic business.

[ The role]

- Reconcile supplier statements, processing of invoices; dealing with queries
- Ensuring the use of PO's by departments & that correct authorisation has been obtained
- Creation of supplier payment runs
- Monthly Intercompany reconciliation
- Maintenance of supplier accounts in SAP
- Support the AR function & assist with ad-hoc duties

[ Person and skills required ]

- Previous experience of working within an Accounts team
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability to work on own initiative to problem solve
- A good sense of humour
