Part Time Payroll Assistant

We are looking for further support within our Finance team here in Kingswinford. The role requires you to work a minimum of 21 hours and ideally that will be over 5 days.

As our Payroll Assistant, you will be processing Payrolls and dealing with calculations.

Key responsibilities:

Payroll query handling and managing corrections

Monthly payroll reports

SSP, SMP, Commission calculations

Assisting with year end requirements

Running monthly payroll

Maintain excellent levels of customer service through consistent levels of performance and achievement of service

Accurate input and update of records on internal management system

Liaise with and establish working relationships with internal customers to ensure departmental compliance with all group and departmental policies

Essential Skills

You will have a thorough understanding of running monthly payroll from start to finish

At least two years payroll experience

Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Knowledge of Sage a distinct advantage

Proven highly analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
