Brand new role as a Category Manager for a manufacturing specialist, which has grown dramatically over the last two years due to acquisitions. One of two positions, this is a B2C role.
As Category Manager you will manage a range of consumer-focussed brands, working closely with the Marketing Executive to develop effective sales and marketing support programmes, and will be responsible for the commercial development and positioning of commodity brands. You will manage the consumer marketing division, including the creation of a brand identity and development of new packaging and support collateral. You will be responsible for market and competitor information / intelligence gathering, including customer profiling and the upkeep of a competitor library. You will also manage the product range, including lifecycle, to ensure product group sales, profitability, and overall return.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who has worked in a Category Manager, Product Manager, or Brand Manager role, who has experience of bringing new products to market and has worked with a consumer product, rather than a service. You should be able to innovate and implement new ideas and initiatives, and be really enthusiastic about joining a fast-moving, forward-thinking business environment.
